Selling of I-PAD tickets

All Masses at OLP this weekend!
Please wear class A to sell I-Pad tickets at each door at end of each masses.

All troop leadership positions are welcome and encourage to attend to plan outings and meeting events. Scouts come with ideas of what you would like to do this summer!

COLOR GUARD call to US Citizenship Ceremony

The International Institute of Erie has invited Troop 59 to particpate as the color guard at this years Citizenship Ceremony in Judge McLaughlin’s Federal Courthouse courtroom.

It is this Friday June 25th, at 10:00 A.M and will last about 45 minutes with a reception afterward.

Color guard please plan on arriving before 9:30 A.M. to prepare. Color guard must be in FULL long pants, Class A Uniforms.

Backpacking June 25 and 26 – meet up with troop

Friday June 25, 4:00 P.M. Wear green class B’s and bring class A’s for time capsule opening. We will have water and restrooms at site.

1.) Leaving OLP parking lot to Oil Creek.
2.) Hiking four miles in to Wolfkiel Adirondacks
3.) Scouts on own for dinner.

Saturday 26.
4.) Scouts on own for breakfast.
5.) Hike 6 miles or 4 miles out to cars.
6.) Hit maybe McDonalds for lunch and Hoss’s for dinner – bring $15.00 – $20.00.
7.) meet with rest of troop at Custaloga by 1:00 p.m.

Troop activity – June 26th, 2010 an all day mini summer trip itinerary :

Those not going backpacking…

1. Meet 8:00 am. Saturday June 26th at OLP
2. Visit Pymatuming overflow and fish hatchery as well as the nature center
( you will want to bring old bread/rolls-loads of fun to watch the fish eat the bread)
3. Lunch- we will stop at McDonalds
4. 1pm arrive at Custaloga town scout camp.
5. 1-4pm participate in activities at Custaloga scout camp
6. 5pm- attend the opening of the Time Capsule (find out what was important to save years ago and see what will be added to save for the future)
7. Supper- stop at Hoss’s in Meadville
