Troop 59

Our last campout was filled with enjoyment and entertainment.
We stayed at a camp named Beaumont.  When we got there, we unpacked the trailer filled with all of our gear. After that, we had a snack and a little campfire before going to sleep for the big day ahead.
We woke up around 7:30 and made breakfast.  After we ate and cleaned up, we got ready to go to the Cleveland Rock Gym. At the rock gym, we got all harnessed up and learned the rules.  We all had loads of fun.  There were two people we called “Spider Monkeys” while we were at the rock gym: Greg C., and Joey N.  They received a T-shirt for their good work.
After we left the rock gym, we went into town to grab something to eat.  Then, we went back to camp and spent some time gathering wood for the night’s fire. Some Scouts started supper.
After dinner, we cleaned up and got ready for capture the flag.  Capture the flag was held in a huge fort at the camp.  Everyone had lots of fun.
During the campfire welcomed the new Scouts into the Troop with a special ceremony.
The next morning, we packed up and cleaned our cabin and headed home.
In all, we all had a great time and hope to return again.
