Troop 59 Attacks Gettysburg
As you all know, the troop will be heading to Gettysburg and Washington D.C. June 22-28. We have been making plans and will present the trip at the Red and White dinner on March 9. Howie and Carol Richards have put the preliminary cost for Scouts at between $275 and $300 for the week. A final cost will be determined once the exact number of boys are signed up. To keep the planning going, we will be asking for a $50 deposit by March 16. If anyone has any questions, ask me or Howie, and we will try to answer them.
We will be requiring the boys to do some advancements in order to go on the trip. We gave out these advancement requirements in January and these must be completed by June in order for the Scout to go. If any Scout has not received them, they should contact me or Howie. Time is ticking. We don’t want anyone missing out on this trip because of not having requirements done.
