Merz Thanksgiving Campout
This month we are going to camp Merz from November 7-9 for our famous Thanksgiving campout.
On Friday, we will relax with pizza and a movie after everything is set up.
On Saturday, we will work (slave) over the oven to make turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, pies galore and much more. We will cook one of our turkeys underground because it tastes great. We will spend most of the day cooking the dinner for our families, and friends. After everything is cooked, we will have mass with Fr. Tom. Finally, we will eat the awesome dinner with our families. After that, we will have our court of honor where many scouts will get merit badges and advance in their next rank. We will also see Aaron’ annual movie. I’m sure it will be a hit. Then we will clean up the dining room.
On Sunday, we will pack up everything, and return to the OLP parking lot where we will be picked up, happy and tired.
